The primary objective of M1 is to develop an understanding of Graston Technique® therapy (GT) and how to apply it into the full spectrum of musculoskeletal treatment approaches. The course also instructs clinicians on the proper use of the instruments.

M1-Basic Training is multi-disciplinary and is available to Certified Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists and assistants, Occupational Therapists and assistants, Massage Therapists, Doctors of Chiropractic and Physicians. Click here for the complete list of eligible clinicians.
Faculty to student ratio 1:16. Maximum attendance per course is 32 participants.
Multiple teaching methods will be utilized consistent with the various levels of complexity of the learning objectives. These will include explanations, demonstrations, performance, feedback, teaching, supervised open practice, and case troubleshooting. The majority of time is spent in a hands-on, lab setting. Teaching materials include the M1 PowerPoint presentation, M1 Training Materials, and Review of Graston Technique® DVD.
Training Fee: M1-Basic Training – $650 USD (plus applicable tax and brokerage)
Rescheduling notice received via email, fax, or letter 15 days prior to the scheduled training is subject to a $50 administrative fee. The balance will be applied toward the same training within the next 12 months. Cancellation with request for a refund is subject to a $100 fee. Cancelling or rescheduling with less than 15days’ notice will result in the loss of 50 percent of the training fee, and the balance will be applied to the same course any time with the next 12 months. Registrants are responsible for any increase in fees. Failure to attend without notice will result in complete loss of fees. Graston Technique, LLC (GT-LLC) reserves the right to cancel a training course at any time and will issue a full refund. Registration fees are subject to change.
GT-LLC reserves the right to alter dates, times, locations, content, and faculty to accommodate unexpected needs. GT-LLC cannot be responsible for expenses incurred by registrants if the program is cancelled or altered.
M1-Basic Training is 12 Hours = 12 CEUs (generally available)

Graston Technique, LLC (GT-LLC) is an Approved Provider of BOC.
The Board of Certification (BOC) sets the standards for the practice of athletic training. BOC is the only accredited certifying body for athletic trainers in the United States.
The BOC Approved Provider program was established to provide certified athletic trainers with an extensive network of continuing education providers. GT-LLC is proud to be associated with the BOC, meet BOC standards, and more importantly, meet the standards of participating certified athletic trainers.
GT courses qualify for HTCC continuing education.
Continuing education units are provided by National University of Health Sciences (NUHS).
National University of Health Sciences is recognized by the PACE program of the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards. States approved by PACE: AK, ID, IN, IA, KS, MA, MD, ME, MN, MT, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OR, RI, SC, SD, TN, UT, VA, VT, WY, Puerto Rico and Nova Scotia. AZ is approved for 11 CEUs.
DC credits for trainings held in Minneapolis will be handled by Northwestern Health Sciences University.
DC credits not available for DCs licensed in Tennessee and Oklahoma
Approved for California DC non-mandatory technique hours.
Chiropractors: Please contact us prior to the class to inquire about the availability of CEUs if you are licensed in a state other than where the training is taking place.
Occupational Therapists self-submit their certificate of completion to their state. GT-LLC will provide the course outline and additional information necessary for submission to the specific state where continuing education units are required.
Graston Technique® therapy courses are approved through ProCert, the Federation of State Board of Physical Therapy (FSBPT), for the following states: AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, DE, DC, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MS, MO, MT, NE, NC, ND, OR, PR, SC, TN, UT, VT, VA, VI, WI, and WY.
The M1 training is approved in FL through CE Broker. Approved in LA, MD (1.2 CEUs), MN (11.5 CEUs), NV (1.2 CEUs), NJ, NM, NY, OH, PA, and WV. Approved in TX; AK and RI have reciprocity approval with TX.
GT-LLC will provide the course outline and additional information necessary for submission to the specific state where continuing education credits are required. (CT, IA, ME, MA, NH, SD, and WA)
Graston Technique, LLC is proud to be an NCBTMB approved provider for continuing education. Courses have not been approved for CE hours in NY.
